What a beautiful fantastic place
What a beautiful fantastic place. If you’re not staying here when you come to Georgetown, then I don’t know what you’re doing.. this is the best place to stay in Georgetown, hands-down. If you have a boat, bring it they have a dock for you to park it at.

This was a great place to stay
This was a great place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. They have a nice little pool you can swim in.

Place was very clean and modern with great views of the river . Some units have balconies , but not all (including ours ) so specifically request one ( may cost more , not sure) . Provided kitchen amenities were minimal (not even a water pitcher ) though did have a few keurig capsules . Note also that the units are near a busy road . The acoustics weren’t bad , but if you are a light sleeper (like me) the road noise might annoy you . Traffic does trickle to a minimum overnight , but you will hear it as it pickups around 7 am . Pool area and outdoor lounge area were nice. It’s a good choice if you want 2br, living area , and a kitchen , though I’d also look at The George Hotel in waterfront area as it’s a better location in my opinion and not next to a busy road .

Beautiful property and great location. Lots of pros:
- Very clean
- Host was super fast to respond
- Property seemed new with great amenities
- Beautiful views
Just a few cons and most had to do with the property and not the host:
- There were multiple units and we thought all units had a balcony, but only 3 out of all the units didnt have a balcony. We happened to get one with no balcony. It was our anniversary weekend so a balcony would have been nice. I would recommend requesting a unit with a balcony if this is important to you.
- The second day of our stay was extremely windy and we legit thought people were pushing luggage carts right outside our bedroom in the middle of the night but realized it was just the wind. It did keep us up, but no fault of anyone's, maybe just the way they are built.
- Early check in was an additional $150, which seems extremely high. Every other place Ive ever asked has accommodated this request for free, if it was possible.
But stay was great.

I would characterize our stay as great then not so great
I would characterize our stay as great then not so great. Impeccably clean, new, rather spartan and modern coastal esthetic. The key code didn’t work Day 1 but the app did, so not a big deal. (Key code worked beginning Day 2.) Temperatures were very mild the beginning of our stay. However, a warm front arrived Day 3. Sadly, the air conditioning did not. Day 3 and Night 3 were downright miserable. Had ongoing chats with host representatives...they were generally responsive, but end result was we had no air conditioning on a hot night. We left before 7am the next morning to escape the heat. I requested a partial refund but have heard nothing. Disappointing, because it is a lovely property.

We had a wonderful stay at Winyah Bay Club Cottages. The cottage itself is beautiful, bright, and feels completely new. The view of the Great Pee Dee River is stunning, and from the first moment we felt truly at home. We were looking for a safe, quiet place where we could also comfortably leave our big kids for a couple of hours, and this was perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped, the couch and beds are super comfy, and everything is thoughtfully prepared for guests. We loved the pool area – relaxing there after a long run was exactly what we needed. One of our favorite moments was enjoying the Sunday sunrise with a cup of coffee in the rocking chair on the deck. Pure peace. The location is great too, just a short drive to downtown Georgetown. We only regret not having enough time to actually cook something in that beautiful kitchen. We would love to come back for a few more days. It was truly a lovely, comfortable stay and we left feeling fully recharged.
