Pet-Friendly Accommodations
We welcome well-behaved canine and feline companions at Winyah Bay Club. To ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable experience for all guests, the following pet policy applies:
Each cottage allows up to two (2) dogs or cats, with a maximum weight of 35 lbs. per pet as a result of property guidelines and guest comfort considerations.
Pet Fee
- A nonrefundable fee of $125 per pet, two pet maximum, is charged per stay to cover extra housekeeping services and preparing the cottage for future guests.
Reservations & Documentation
- Guests must declare their intention to bring pets at time of booking.
- Dogs and cats only
- A $350 Penalty will be assessed for unregistered pets.
- Photographic evidence or vet documentation may be requested to verify breeds for compliance.
Guidelines & Responsibilities
- Pets must remain leashed or under strict control while in common areas.
- Guests are responsible for any damage or disturbances and will be liable for repairs or additional cleaning.
- Pets must be crated if left unattended in the cottage.
- Aggressive pets or excessive barking will result in additional fees or eviction without a refund.
Pet Cleanup & Noise
- Guests must clean up after pets on grounds, using provided disposal bags and designated areas.
- Please be mindful of noise; excessive barking during quiet hours (9 pm–9 am) may incur a disturbance fee.
Pet Amenities
- To ensure a comfortable stay for our four-legged guests, we provide dog bowls, waste bags, and furniture covers for their convenience and your peace of mind.
