In Case of Emergency
- Call 911 immediately for any fire, police, or medical emergency.
- Evacuate the property if necessary and move to a safe location.
- Once safe, notify Peace Vacations so we can assist and coordinate with local responders.
Fire Safety
- Fire extinguishers are located at the entryway, laundry room and end of the kitchen counter. Smoke detectors are also installed in your cottage.
- Please do not leave cooking unattended.
- Do not use grills indoors or on balconies.
- Evacuate immediately if smoke alarms sound and call 911.
Severe Weather & Natural Events
- Stay informed using local alerts or the NOAA Weather Service.
- During hurricanes, floods, or severe storms, follow official evacuation instructions.
- If you are unsure what to do, contact Guest Services for guidance.
Pool & Waterfront Safety
- No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- No diving or running in pool or dock areas.
- No glass containers near pools, docks, or decks.
- Use caution when walking on wet surfaces or near boats.
- Caution: Decking may become hot during summer.
- Life jackets are strongly encouraged for children and non-swimmers.
- No swimming at docks.
Security & Personal Safety
