Getting around Georgetown is easy, relaxed, and full of Lowcountry charm. The historic downtown is best explored on foot, just stroll along the Harborwalk to admire waterfront views, boutique shops, and local seafood restaurants. For longer trips, driving is the most convenient way to reach nearby beaches, plantations, and scenic marshland trails.

Public parking is plentiful and free throughout most of the downtown area. Golf carts are a fun local favorite for short rides, while bike rentals offer a breezy way to explore the quiet streets and shaded live oaks. If you’re heading to Pawleys Island or Murrells Inlet, you’ll find it’s just a short, scenic drive along Highway 17.

Whether you’re cruising through the marina, biking to the farmers market, or taking a day trip up the coast, Georgetown’s laid-back pace makes every journey part of the adventure.

We arrived Sunday before Memorial Day anticipating the relaxed view of the river and docks. The first day was a Sunday and road noise was minimal. Monday it increased but by a normal day, Tuesday, traffic on and coming off the bridge was extremely loud, especially in the bedroom. I did notice before I booked where it was but after reviewing the feedback, nothing was mentioned which was highly surprising. It is new construction but there were a few things that should have been take care of before rented, minor yes, but still should have been done. If it was an older unit or clearly someone's home, I would compile a list but due to this I should not have too. The staff should be checking on the units better. It would have been helpful to have a layout of where the unit was located as there are 17 units. Parking was fine but I can easily see if over half the units were booked, there would not be enough spaces available. The pool and cabana areas were great. A very nice layout.

Beautiful view with all sorts of amenities. The host was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. The home was immaculate and had plenty of starter items like coffee, creamer, hand soaps, toiletries, paper towels, and toilet paper. Conveniently located to Georgetown’s historic waterfront and only a 15min drive to Pawley’s Island. Highly recommend!
