For longer trips, driving is the most convenient way to reach nearby beaches, plantations, and scenic marshland trails.

Public parking is plentiful and free throughout most of the downtown area. Golf carts are a fun local favorite for short rides, while bike rentals offer a breezy way to explore the quiet streets and shaded live oaks. If you’re heading to Pawleys Island or Murrells Inlet, you’ll find it’s just a short, scenic drive along Highway 17.

Whether you’re cruising through the marina, biking to the farmers market, or taking a day trip up the coast, Georgetown’s laid-back pace makes every journey part of the adventure.

I’ve stayed at this property before at another unit and had a pleasant experience

I’ve stayed at this property before at another unit and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this recent stay did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue was communication with the host and extended checkout. I’m currently in town to bury my mother and requested to checkout at 1pm. The host mentioned it would cost $150+ due to housekeeping schedules. I have never experienced that. I reached out to the host at 10:30pm inquiring about additional parking because all of the spaces were taken. We messages for 1 hour with the host continuously asking me to confirm there was no parking. I just sat in my car for an hour and waited for someone to leave. There were boat trailers parked at the property and there were signs posted stating trailers are not allowed. I checked out at 10:55am and received a message from the host at 11:45am stating housekeeping said I was still onsite and I needed to leave. I left an hour prior. Overall I will not return.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The view of the marsh was absolutely peaceful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary Winyah Bay club Medium roast coffee—it was such a thoughtful touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness of the home was impeccable. Everything felt fresh, welcoming, and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again when visiting family her Georgetown, who also were impress with the home. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing mini getaway.

We loved WBC and it 100% exceeded expectations. We were a tad concerned about the location directly off the major highway but koodos to the planning engineer, the property was designed in a specific way to block the view of the highway. We literally forgot it was there! GENIUS!!! As much as we try to not visit the same places all the time, we cant wait to visit again. Thank you for the sweet memories!

The stay was great. All of the amenities were fabulous. So close to DT Georgetown. Close to Pawleys lsland. Great location!the host was super responsive. Had an issue and reached out, it was repaired with a couple of hours. Cleaning associate Beatrice, was great. The only detractor was the 2 motels that were adjacent, their guests would come and fish or just hang around the facilities. Would absolutely stay again. Maybe next season!
